Tiny Tigers ROAR during September Grading

This past Wednesday evening was a very special night for our Tiny Tigers. Five of their classmates stepped into the Spirit Circle to test for their next belt, and the entire class was there to support them.

Before grading began, Master Terry reminded everyone of an important lesson: a new belt is never just “given” because a student has earned four stripes. It must be earned by demonstrating skill, courage, and focus in front of their families. This challenge is what makes their achievement truly meaningful.

The Tiny Tigers lived up to their acronym, ROAR;  Respect, Obedience, Attitude, and Responsibility. They showed the foundation of their training for their age and ability level, and then, with great determination, demonstrated an attitude of fortitude. Each child pushed through their board breaking requirement, refusing to give up until they succeeded.

Parents, these moments are where confidence is built. The smiles, the cheers, and even the struggles along the way are part of what makes martial arts training such a gift for your children. We are so proud of our Tiny Tigers for showing their spirit, their ROAR, and their never-quit attitude.
