Focus and Courage in the Spirit Circle

always earned! never given!

Last evening during our Teen Class, one of our dedicated 14-year-old students demonstrated what it truly means to pour your heart and soul into training. After three intense rounds in the Spirit Circle, he completed his third round completely blindfolded.

Without removing the blindfold, he had to listen carefully for the sound of the board holders lightly tapping the board. He then found the target, lined himself up with the proper distance, and executed his elective breaking technique. His choice was bold, a jump spinning back side kick, and he nailed it on the very first attempt.

This achievement marked his promotion to Brown Belt, a milestone that reflects not only skill but also courage, focus, and determination.

Beyond the mat, this young martial artist shows the same dedication in every area of his life. Whether it is mountain bike racing, sports, or playing bass guitar, he brings a commitment to being his absolute best. His journey is an inspiring reminder that discipline, passion, and perseverance lead to success in all things.

We are proud to celebrate this moment with him and look forward to watching his continued growth on and off the mat.
