Our 31st Annual Kick or Treat was filled with creativity, laughter, and some of the most imaginative costumes we have ever seen. I am always impressed by the creativity of these amazing kids, and this year they truly outdid themselves.
We had everything from a Costasiella kuroshimae (yes, the sea slug!), an incredible costume that showed not only Halloween spirit but also creativity and awareness of the beauty of life in the sea, to K-Pop demon hunters, walking and talking board games (our live Monopoly piece with his top hat was unforgettable), and a variety of wildlife, from mighty leopards to adorable wolves and foxes.
Between games, dancing, a couple of Pixar movies, and healthy snacks (candy is outlawed here!), everyone enjoyed a fun filled evening in a safe, positive, and kid-friendly environment, surrounded by friends who feel more like family.
Another fantastic night to remember. Thank you to all who made it such a special celebration and a special thanks to our teen and adult mentors!
