I have 2 kids in Jung Martial Arts Family Center, and they both love it. Master Terry and Master Ava are wonderful with kids, teens and adults, alike. I love the affects of how taking martial arts in such a positive environment, continues to have on my boys.
Great mental and physical life lessons through Hap Ki Do from excellent teachers, Master Terry and Master Ava.
My son, daughter, and myself all attend hapkido classes at Jung Martial Arts Family Center. Master Ava and Master Terry are amazing teachers who make the classes fun for the children. They help us build confidence with each new skill we learn. Overall this is a great place to learn martial arts whether you are an adult or child.
This place is the best. My son has become so much more confident , and can defend himself better than ever. Definitely get signed up here asap, this place is top notch!
We absolutely love it here! My oldest has been going for almost 2 years, I myself recently enrolled, and one of my girls is anxiously awaiting her 5th birthday so she can join too. Master Ava and Master Terry are wonderful instructors and role models, and it’s a wonderful family atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Outstanding school with tremendous instructors in a welcoming environment. I earned my 1st Dan in Orthodox Hapkido while stationed in Korea during my Army service, and I can tell you that the Jung Martial Arts Family Center is the real deal. Highly recommend!
My son has been training at Jung Martial Arts Family Center (Hapkido) for over two years and my wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My son is learning about the art of self-defense, which teaches him balance, footwork, body positioning, how to breathe and several other components of Hapkido.
However, more impressively to me, not only is he learning about self-defense, but he is also learning about critical life values such as honesty, integrity, respect, loyalty, courage, etc. With the top-notch instruction that he receives from the staff, he doesn’t just know to say those words (values), but he understands the meaning of the word(s) and how it applies to him.
Overall, I believe Hapkido has impacted my son in an extremely positive way. Changing his attitude from self-doubt to I can do anything, no longer being timid in trying something new, and making better overall decisions on a daily basis. I highly recommend the Jung Martial Arts Family Center to anyone. I promise you will be impressed with the atmosphere and the outstanding Instructors!
Jung Martial Arts Family Center teaches authentic Korean Hapkido. It is the perfect place to go for a family activity. Not only does our family bond more on the mat, we are also learning self defense while getting a good workout.
Our children have been a part of Jung Martial Arts for several years. Not only have they learned good self defense skills, they also learned good morals and values off the mat.
Jung Martial Arts is for anybody with any disability from ages 5 to, well if you are still alive to read this. I would have joined years ago if I wasn't so self conscious of my size. I finally built up the courage and joined. I wish I had joined years ago when I was first interested. Our Hapkido family always accepts anyone with open arms and are non-judgmental. If you have ever thought about learning self defense and want to get in shape while doing it, I highly encourage you to Just Hapkido It! You won't regret it.
My daughter has been training at JMA, a Hapkido (Korean) martial arts center, for 2 years and we're very happy with it. The instructors, Master Terri and Master Ava, are excellent. JMA is a safe, supportive, highly structured environment. My daughter has learned self-discipline, Hapkido philosophy, and self-defense. JMA's new location offers a bigger space to train. There are multiple classes based on age and skill level; all members of the family can train. Belt tests take place on Saturdays. JMA is year-round, but you can take breaks from it periodically as needed. Students quickly learn Korean words & numbers, as well as a little bit about Korean culture. Master Terry has taught my daughter that if you want to do martial arts, you have to know the philosophy behind it, not just be good at defending yourself. I'm very glad that we have JMA in our small town!
My boys and i absolutely love Jung Martial Arts Family Center! The boys have been doing Hapkido for a year and a half and have learned so much between self defense and control. Their confidence has also been boosted. Master Terry, Master Ava and Miss Lani are always supportive and caring towards each and every person who walks through their door. Hands down, best place ever!
Grandkids love their new experience with hapkido lessons. Instructors very helpful, friendly and conscientious.
Jung Martial Arts is a family business which takes great pride in providing fantastic martial arts instruction. They work well with each student to help them grow in discipline as well as skill and comprehension of the principles behind it all. They are so easy to work with and provide many opportunities to learn. My child has been attending classes since age 5 and years later still loves these classes not only for what he's learning, but for the instructors who teach it. I highly recommend them!
Jung Martial Arts is a great place for the entire family! We really enjoy our time there and learn so much. Master Terry and Master Ava are extremely knowledgeable and very patient with all age groups. I would recommend this place and these people to anyone, even if you have a chronic injury or haven’t been very physically active in a while, they give you instruction at your pace and are incredibly encouraging every step of the way.

A fun, family friendly, positive environment where the students (of all ages and abilities) are taught so much more than just martial arts skills. Students are taught about respect, courage, integrity, confidence, and discipline. I would recommend this center to anyone interested in training in the martial arts.
The place is 100% top notch we visited other schools but the others schools didn't stand up to jungs

We’ve been a part of the Jung’s Martial Arts family for coming up on three years, and it has been nothing but an amazing experience for my children and our entire family.
The authenticity of the training and the incredible amount of combined experience from the instructors is a very rare find. You receive an amazing mix of traditional authentic Hapkido training, which is then also translated into incredibly valuable self-defense training for ‘modern world’ situations. Hapkido is a martial art that does it all. Strikes, kicks, ground work, joint locks, weaponry, physical health and stamina and, most importantly, the mental strength, clarity and agility gained is priceless.
My two young children have learned calming and breathing techniques for stressful situations which I’ve seen them use unprompted with amazing results! They’ve learned to try, try again, to aspire to be their BEST selves, to not worry what anyone else is doing unless you’re cheering them on! They’re learning to become leaders of themselves in a challenging, yet encouraging and supportive environment.
We started with the three free trial session and never looked back. I now take the adult classes as well and found my own passion for this amazing martial art called HAPKIDO! Give it a shot! Nothing to lose and you won’t be disappointed!
Hands down, the absolute best self defense training for all ages. My son learns far more than just kicks and punches. He learns how to use his mind, body, and spirit when it comes to training and self defense. Integrity, passion, and indomitable spirit are just a few of the amazing qualities that all of the instructors possess. We love our Jung family!
I never took any form of Martial Arts before. After a year into Hapkido it has become a part of my life. If I miss classes I feel something is missing. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very patient and make the classes fun and wanting more even when the classes end. My wife and kids also attend the classes. And we look forward to our classes. Me and my wife also attend kumdo classes on Friday where we train in the art of Korean sword fighting. I recommend trying their first 3 classes that is free. You will not be disappointed.
The greatest family self defense training! I took other forms of karate who’s focus was on katas and forms. This is about real life self defense situations and how to protect yourself. Their adult class is very involved and taught from very experienced instructors. The kids learn more than just self defense. They learn discipline, self confidence, team work, role modeling and more. They offer 3 Trial days to see if you like it. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.
If you're tired of the uncontrolled chaos and complete lack of core personal, physical, and moral development that comes with most children's activities, then Jung Martial Arts is definitely something you should consider. Without question, trying it out has been one of the best decisions we've ever made for our son. It's provided him with an excellent outlet for all that excess youthful energy and has been a wonderful opportunity in the development of his general physical fitness, balance, and flexibility. A bargain at triple the price.
I have been a member of the Jung martial arts family for over 5 years. It is literally as it says a family atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to everyone. The best instructors for all ages. Decades of experience from Master Terry. I can’t say enough good things about it.
We love Jung's . They are absolutely amazing. My 8 year old has been going here for almost one year. My son has severe ADHD and has difficulty focusing and following complex directions. They are wonderful with him. They not only teach martial arts, but discipline, self confidence, and self worth. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

With good reason, this family martial arts centre has been the choice, above all others in the local area, for my two sons. The cost, which includes the initial training uniform, is not prohibitive and is ahead of competitiors that I researched.
The spacious training area is well laid out with all necessary equipment close to hand and the instructors are excellent with the students who range from very young to adult. The improvements in my sons, both physically and mentally in the past year have been wonderful. They are not only learning physical self defense but much more besides.
I cannot praise this training center enough and highly recommend it to all who are interested in this mode of self development, despite age or initial fitness level.
