“Master Ava” is an Internationally recognized Master Instructor in Authentic Hapkido. Master Ava began her Martial Arts Journey in 1986 and earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She earned her 1^st Dan Black Belt in Hapkido, awarded by Grandmaster Guak Noh Guen, in 1999.

Master Ava is a Graphic Designer by trade and a Graduate of Edinboro University. She is the Assistant Director and Administrator of Jung Martial Arts Family Center. Master Ava is a member of the World Jung Moo Hapkido Association and was appointed as a board member in 2019. Master Ava is also a member of the HAPKIDOWON, under the direction of President and Founder, Grandmaster Hong Sik Myung as well as a member of the International Hapkido Alliance.
