Wednesday evening a belt grading was held during adult HapKiDo class. Adult color belt gradings are held during class. Last evening two teens were invited to grade in the class also. After going three rounds in the spirit circle their performance was evaluated by the Black Belts in the class. They had no idea what the next attacker was going to do and there was no pause between attacks. 

By round three the nervousness was gone. The third round started with an elevated heart rate due to going from aerobic exercises to instantly to defending against their classmates attacks. Through proper breath control all three were able to regain control and began to move smoothly. Proper training! The science of self-defense! HapKiDo!

 The Black Belts all agreed that they demonstrated their required concepts, methods and techniques for their age and level of ability well under stress.
